BSES started Self Meter Reading where consumers have to take their meter reading and submit the Reading through BSES Android App.

Self Meter Reading through SMS
Step 1 : Click on the link in the SMS received (Dueto COVID-19 meter reading is suspended. Please
click on http://tinyurl.com/y9zawycb to submit your meter reading (MR) by midnight of DD-MM-YYYY. )
You will get self meter reading rebate of Rs. 20 and actual reading bill. In case meter reading not received, provisional bill will be raised.
Step 2 :Enter meter readings & upload Photo of your meter for the CA No. & Meter No. displayed
Step 3: Click “Submit” to successfully
complete the self meter reading process &
to receive confirmation of the same.
Self Meter Reading Service (Option 2)
Self Meter Reading through BSES Mobile App
Step 1 : Go to BSES MobileApp
Step 2 : Log-In to your “MY ACCOUNT” (New Users will have to create their My
Account User Id & Password)
Step 3 : Click on the Registered CA No. for which “Self Meter Reading “is
required
Step 4: Now click on the “Self Meter Reading” icon to fetchdetails
Step 5:Verify your Consumer Details & Meter No. as displayed. You may edit the
displayed meter no, if incorrect
Step 6 : Enter the details & capture the photo of your meter readings & Click
Submit . Acknowledgement message for the same shall be displayed on your
screen .
Register Your Mobile No. For ‘Self Meter Reading’
Step 1 : Go to BSES website www.bsesdelhi.com & Click on “Self Meter Reading
Registration”
Step 2 : Enter the CA No & click the “Submit”button
Step 3 : Your consumer details will auto-populate. Verify your details and click
“Next “ to proceed
Step 4 : Enter your Mobile number
Step 5 : Click “Send OTP “ to receive OTP on the mobile number entered by you
Step 6 : Enter the OTP & click “Submit” to successfullyregister
Step 7 : Message will be displayed – “You are successfully registered for Self
meter reading, you will get the link through SMS as per your meter reading”

Other Benefits To Consumers:
Extended Due Date & Reduced LPSC:
Due dates has been extended by two weeks from the actual due date for the bills
raised during the period March 24 2020 to June 30 2020. LPSC will not be applicable
within the extended due date period.
Consumer will be charged LPSC at a reduced rate of 12% p.a, if not paidwithin the extendedd date for the bills raised during the period March 24th 2020 to June 30th 2020.
Other Benefits:
For all modes of digital payments, processing fee / banking charges / convenience fee will not be charged upto Rs 10000/- (Earlier Rs 5000/-)
Additional rebate of Rs 20 per bill shall be provided, if consumer furnishesthe
meter reading himself/ herself
No transaction charges on any amount if paid through Bharat Bill Payenabled
channels
